臺中第一高等女學校學校全景

日治大正8（1919）年4月成立的臺灣公立臺中高等女學校，於翌（1920）年3月改稱州立臺中高等女學校，校舍建築於昭和5（1930）年1月竣工落成，照片為其落成的學校全景。至昭和16（1941）年因新設臺中第二高等女學校而改稱為州立臺中第一高等女學校。係現今的臺中女中前身。

明治35（1902）年的臺中座是臨時房屋的戲場。明治41（1908）年始在榮町三丁目（今繼光街與中山路角）年建築150坪的劇場，大正2（1913）年買收寶座（大正館）營業演劇舞踊等相當興盛。照片為大正初期的臺中座外景。
蔡培火

蔡培火(1889-1983)，雲林北港人，總督府國語學校畢業後任教職，因參加同化會被解職，得林獻堂資助赴日，進東京高等師範，參與新民會、主編《臺灣青年》，並全力投入臺灣議會設置請願運動，治警事件中被捕繫獄。

北平箋譜

此《北平箋譜》是魯迅、鄭振鐸先生合編輯選的一部傳統木刻浮水印箋紙集。全書共分六冊，內收人物、山水、鳥獸、花果、殿閣、造像等箋紙三百三十二種，由當時榮寶齋、淳菁閣、松華齋、靜文齋、懿文齋、清秘閣、成興齋、寶晉齋、松古齋等九家藏版選材刻就。此為民國二十二年初印本。

《程氏墨苑》是明萬曆年間制墨大師程大約編，著名畫家丁雲鵬繪圖，徽刻名工黃轔、黃應泰、黃應道鐫刻的墨譜。全書分：玄工、輿圖、人官、物華、儒藏、緇黃六類。為了造勢，程大約還請了當時諸多名流作序編為人文爵裡。
繪事瑣言

此《繪事瑣言》由清代迮朗編著。全書共八卷，凡六十篇（水、硯、絹、紙、墨、顏料、膠、礬、印、印泥等），主要內容采輯諸書所記，就繪事所須之用物用具，分類搜編，且一一予以考證，並講究其制法、用法，而於紙絹、顏料兩類，敘述尤為詳盡。此為雨金堂藏板，清嘉慶四年刊本。
天龍山石窟

天龍山石窟于唐代達藝術高峰，然因長期湮沒，至清末民初已毀壞慘重。此《天龍山石窟》為二十世紀初外村太治郎隨關野貞、常盤大定、田中俊逸一起在調查天龍山石窟遺跡後，以照片記錄了其被破壞前的原始面貌，全套共八十幅，每幅有中英文標記。此本為金尾文淵堂 1922 年出版。
