貝匙 Seashell Spoon

貝匙是雅美(達悟)族平常飲食用具。利用貝殼的自然弧度做為匙面凹槽截切成勺狀，向上延伸切磨成匙柄，表面平滑、外觀呈現米黃色具珍珠光澤乍看之下有點金屬感，有微微發亮的狀況。
The seashell spoon is made from marbled turban and was a common eating utensils of the Yami (Tao) people. Using the natural curvature of the seashell as the bowl of the spoon, the seashell is cut it into a spoon shape, with the upward extension as the spoon handle. The surface is smooth, and the appearance is beige colour with pearly luster.
