臺灣的祭典‧謝將軍與范將軍

每年的農曆五月十三日是城隍祭，全臺灣的城隍廟都會在這一天以匠心獨運的裝飾供奉，參拜者集於一處為了燒紙、燒香而擠成一團。當天也會有神轎出巡，依序是樂隊、神將團、神器團、騎馬團，跟在高爺矮爺之後。再來是由數人抬起坐在蜈蚣閣上盛裝打扮的妓女們加入，其隊伍可達整個城鎮之長，路上擁擠到甚至無法動彈。
