臺中第一高等女學校學校全景

日治大正8(1919)年4月成立的臺灣公立臺中高等女學校,於翌(1920)年3月改稱州立臺中高等女學校,校舍建築於昭和5(1930)年1月竣工落成,照片為其落成的學校全景。至昭和16(1941)年因新設臺中第二高等女學校而改稱為州立臺中第一高等女學校。係現今的臺中女中前身。
臺中商業學校校舍落成

大正8(1919)年設立公立臺中商業學校,借臺中一中教室,收容臺灣人子弟60多名,以修業三年制開校。大正10(1921)年5月1日改為州立,同年於新高町(現臺中商專處)年建築校舍10月28日落成,移入新校舍上課。大正12(1923)年2月23日修業年限改為五年制,是現今的臺中科技大學前身學校。
明治尋常高等小學校時期校舍

明治32(1899)年為日本學童設立的「臺中小學校」開校。明治34(1901)年建築校舍在明治町三丁目(今自由路)年,翌(1902)年改稱臺中尋常高等小學校。修業年限為尋常科六年,高等科二年。
大正初期臺中座外景

明治35(1902)年的臺中座是臨時房屋的戲場。明治41(1908)年始在榮町三丁目(今繼光街與中山路角)年建築150坪的劇場,大正2(1913)年買收寶座(大正館)營業演劇舞踊等相當興盛。照片為大正初期的臺中座外景。
