小面簾也有遮蔽的效果，跟交關屏隔成三道門，作為戲偶進退場的出入口。中間的小面簾繡有劇團名稱，左右兩邊的小面簾上，通常繡有「出將」「入相」，也有劇團以發源地或所在地來取代。
The curtains also hide the puppeteers, but in addition serve as the puppets’ entry and exit points. The main curtain displays the troupe’s name, while the side curtains usually read “Good General” and “Sage Minister”. However, some troupes might instead opt to showcase their hometown or current location.
