館內二、三樓中央樓梯穿越廣間之連續拱圈的上方，其正背面都有勳章飾，勳章飾是巴洛克建築之花飾特色，中間常做成橢圓形，在旁邊裝飾有綵帶或花、草、葉等；因形似鮑魚又稱為『鮑魚飾』。

Characteristic of Baroque architecture, a cartouche is typically an oval design edged with ornamental scrollwork. In Chinese, the cartouche is also known as “abalone ornamentation” because of its similar shape.
