本件是以原住民婦女拿杵搗小米為主題之黑白明信片。女子站在茅草屋前方，雙手持木杵作搗米狀，依據服裝形制推測，圖中人物應屬排灣族。明信片正面印刷文字「臺灣所見」及「臺灣の旅行者にとって蕃人の生活は確に興味の一焦点である。
