〈碎心花〉為鄧雨賢作曲，周添旺作詞。
〈碎心花〉描寫純情少女卻因情郎薄情，以致誤其一生的悲嘆。周添旺作詞，嬌英演唱。歌曲曲調為四拍子，宮調式，五聲音階。每句四小節，四句式結構。每半句兩小節均從第二拍開始旋律音符，前三句節奏安排均相同，旋律高點安排於第三句，充滿希望之感，卻於第四句又落下，終究哀怨。

歌曲曲調為二拍子，羽調式，五聲音階。歌曲為五句式，每句長短不一，各句長度分別為四、三、五、四、五小節，其中第一、二句及第三、四句之間均加入了三小節之間奏句。每句節奏及旋律各有不同，但五句均分別中止在羽、角、羽、角、羽音，兩個間奏句亦均中止於角音，明顯呈現羽調式風格。
閒花嘆
鄧泰超
〈閒花嘆〉為鄧雨賢作曲，李臨秋作詞，純純演唱。描寫丈夫因謀生至外地工作，致夫妻分散兩地的思念之情。
歌曲曲調為三拍子，宮調式，五聲音階。每句八小節，四句式的結構，每句均以弱起之第三拍之開始，節奏之安排除第三句稍有變化，其他均同；旋律進行部分使用，卻頗能強調的六度、八度跳進。
