With a simple drag and drop, you can place the section you care about in the centre. This design allows you to focus on specific events or people and their surrounding connections. As you dig deeper, the information will appear in real time, making you feel like you're there as you travel through history.</div><div><br></div><div>Directional Links</div><div>Unlike a traditional mesh structure, each link here has a clear direction. Through this function, not only do you know how A and B are related, but you can also understand who is the active and who is the passive in this relationship. This design allows for a more logical presentation of the overall historical events.</div><div><br></div><div>Location and narrative information</div><div>Through the dotted lines, we have included important collateral information for each specific event or action, such as the place of origin, the names of the participating armies, etc. You can also add your own narrative information. In addition, you can add your own brief description of the background of the event to help you quickly grasp, organise and present the main points of the event. This not only increases your understanding of the geographic location of the event, but also allows you to quickly locate the event's point in history.</div><div><br></div><div>The \"Interactive Event Mapping\" feature is a well thought out design for history enthusiasts. GIS Centre</div><div>We have imported the Ming Dynasty map table constructed by the GIS Centre, which reflects the geographical and urban distribution network of the time, making the analysis of natural language processing\ntools developed by intelligent information service research (IISR) lab at national\ncentral university. These includes date format conversion, named entity recognition\nfor locations and persons and entity linking for persons. <br><br>2 We next utilized a weakly supervised\nmethod developed by IISR lab to classify military-related records. <br><br>3 The next challenge lies in semantic\nanalysis. We have analyzed the verbs used in military events and categorized\nthem into different types. This helps us create prompts for performing\ninformation extraction with the LLM in the next stage. <br><br>4 We then use LLM to extract information\nabout military actions and the individuals who participated in these actions,\nalong with other related details, and convert this extracted data into\nstructured data. <br><br>Since the extracted data is not perfect, we\nhired an annotator to correct any errors.
