M.F.A.）。曾任臺藝大美術系主任、美術學院院長、藝術博物館館長，從事藝術教育逾半世紀，奉獻心力於作育英才，並擔任中華民國畫學會與傅狷夫書畫學會理事長，推展藝文活動與舉辦學術研討會，不遺餘力。</div><div><br></div><div>從小生長於雲林農村，綠意盎然的田野，雞犬相聞，蘊育著羅教授對大自然自在的嚮往；注重師造化與師心，體悟大自然氣象萬千的變化，是他長期致力於水墨創作的泉源。初期就地取材，以環島山川景物作為寫生對象，尤其中部與北部橫貫公路、阿里山、墾丁以及北部濱海公路，都留下了畫家的足跡；此外為求題材多元，漸及於中國大陸與世界各地的名山勝景，五嶽風采、美國大峽谷、尼加拉瓜與伊瓜蘇瀑布，也都一一成為畫作的主角。曾榮獲全國美展第一名、中山文藝創作獎、國家文藝獎特別獎，此外雲林大埤國小、虎尾中學、國立臺灣藝術大學、美國芳邦大學都頒贈了「傑出校友」的榮銜，深耕水墨教育與創作五十餘載，成就斐然。</div><div><br></div><div>羅教授擔任國父紀念館展覽審議委員與典藏委員多年，熱心協助辦理活動，曾參與本館合繪大畫〈寶島風情〉與〈蓬萊風華〉的策劃與繪製，投入心力，奉獻所學。此次很高興邀請羅教授於中山國家畫廊舉辦個展，2022年「大地情緣」涵蓋創作50餘年的脈絡刻痕，從中可一窺一位優秀的創作者，是如何通過人生境遇，學習歷程的轉折，最終化做筆下開闊又細膩的當代山水新境。策展分四項系列子題，南室為「蓬萊探勝」、「新皴新境」，北室為「異域尋幽」、「筆痕墨影」，歡迎觀眾一起感受畫家對於鄉土的熱愛與情懷，分享水墨天地的自在與喜悅。</div>",
