<div>織布是泰雅女性天生的使命與技能，在過去部落社會中，女性自幼年開始透過母親的教導學習織布的技能，是生命必經的過程。完成織品後，才能於雙頰與下額紋面，看似美麗其實相當辛苦，有時候甚至會感染發炎。<br></div><div><br></div><div>完成紋面者，才能結婚成家。結婚後的婦女，白日要操忙家務、墾田種植。</div><div>晚上還要織布為全家做衣服、被單。泰雅族婦女的一生，與織布密不可分。<br></div><div><br></div>
