"desc": "擅於用畫筆表達的蔡蕙香，也在美術課找到發揮的地方，他的畫常常被老師貼上班級的牆壁，同學看在眼裡，也常找他幫忙美術作業（不要學！），那種每學年都要舉辦的壁報、班級美化比賽，更是常常由蔡蕙香負責，似乎可以想像，當時要是有選學藝股長，蔡蕙香一定會被推舉出來，實在是非常可靠！<br><br>高中時，蔡蕙香更進入台南知名畫郭柏川老師的畫室，學習素描等繪畫技巧基礎。<br><br>高中畢業後，為了不讓父母擔心，蔡蕙香選擇進入國立藝專美工科，走上與過往習畫經驗有相當落差的設計之路。",

"desc": "<span>這時，正值青春年華的孩子映入蔡蕙香的眼簾，那份青春獨有的不安與躁動，激發了蔡蕙香的藝術靈魂，又由於當時四個兒子和蔡蕙香憶起在美國加州生活，因而那時一幅幅記錄下兒子生活與心思的畫作，便稱為「小留學生系列」。<br><br>此幅〈憧憬〉大量使用藍白色調，凸顯出畫中人物的青澀。左右兩人延伸的手臂，使畫面收束於中央，但透過兩人眼神往不同處看，好像可以感受到他們其實正處於人生交叉路口，對未來有所憧憬。中間一張醒目的紅椅子，有一人背對觀者，無聲地看向前方，不知道在想些什麼的感覺，正好強化了這幅畫所要傳達的迷茫感。<br><br>但若從另一個角度看，蔡蕙香從旁觀看三名兒子的互動談天，這一幕場景，可能也是蔡蕙香自己的憧憬。<div><br></div></span>",

"desc": "<span>而當夜深人靜，蔡蕙香能暫時卸下母親的角色，白天忙碌於照顧孩子，夜裡方能享受專屬自己的時間。<br><br>由於玩偶能自由地擺出各種各樣的姿態，就好像夜晚也是蔡蕙香能潛心創作的時光，這樣的特質吸引了蔡蕙香，因而畫下多幅充滿想像空間的玩偶系列畫作。<br><br>藉由細緻的揣摩人偶表情服裝等細節，為無生命的人偶注入生命力，因而產生介於虛實之間的夢幻感，是玩偶系列的主要創作手法。</span>",

"desc": "1995年，蔡蕙香於台北市立美術館舉辦個展，這次個展的主題為「回到自然」。<br><br>當時台灣環保運動相當蓬勃，蔡蕙香也運用畫作傳達環保觀念。<br><br>一覽無遺、乾淨的天空上，有一個塑膠袋突兀的飛過，形成諷刺的對照，曾幾何時，我們與自然的距離變得那麼遠，塑膠袋象徵的環境汙染卻又影響環境甚鉅，右下方一隻鳥靜靜看著，似乎在提醒我們，不要忘了回到自然。",

"desc": "前述解嚴後社運蓬勃，但往往仍遭政府強力壓制而使得社會似乎沒有平靜的日子，此時蔡蕙香又逢兒子生病，這些人生的動盪相當耗費心神，因緣際會下，蔡蕙香進入藏傳佛教的世界，並在其中漸漸找回內心的平靜。<br><br>這幅〈迷惘〉描繪了尋找心靈歸依之所的過程，一個人影趴伏於佛祖面前，領受佛的箴言，佛祖臉上面容祥和，蔡蕙香所使用的色彩卻炙熱無比，似在說明尋求信仰過程雖然迷惘，但尋得之時，迸發的光芒卻是無與倫比的。",

"desc": "經由信仰之道獲得平靜的蔡蕙香，其心境也表現在畫作上。<br><br>〈荷花〉中不僅花柔美可人，葉片也姿色各異，有些尚未開展，有些則已近估黃，蔡蕙香細膩的捕捉住了荷葉當下的狀態，不僅技術高超，更需要創作者的專注，這時萬物在畫家眼中，再真實不過，荷花也因此展露最美的姿態。<br><br>上面另一幅〈虛實之間〉則描繪牡丹每一片花瓣的型態，一片一片接著看，律動感也傾瀉而出，其間一條空白留下花瓣的線條，而消除花瓣的質感，這樣的留白反而更加凸顯牡丹原本的豔麗。<br><div><br></div>",

"desc": "<div>此時的蔡蕙香，已經能自在游走於虛實之間，孫子與兒童成為其創作泉源，經由蔡蕙香的畫筆，總能表現出孩童最真實可愛的一面。</div><div><br></div><div>〈南瓜園〉一幅中一顆顆渾圓飽滿的南瓜滿佈地面，恣意在田園中生長，數量多得超乎預期一點，是觀看這幅畫的趣味之一。其中兩名孩童好奇的在田園中探索，身上穿著與南瓜同樣為暖色系的服裝，讓整體畫面呈現溫暖的氛圍。</div><div><br></div><div>〈Ethan的童年〉則以自己的孫子作為題材，記錄下四個神情動作的瞬間，周遭繽紛的氣球，為畫面添加了歡樂氣息，┘看著這幅畫時，好像也一起進入無憂無慮的童年，與Ethan一起玩耍。</div>",
