從梅州、香港到沙巴，在客家教會中常常可以看到這張典故出自新約聖經《馬太福音》的寬窄路圖。它提醒教友們，在現實生活中要有所堅持，這樣才能得到救贖與永生。
「你們要進窄門。因為引到滅亡，那門是寬的，路是大的，進去的人也多；引到永生，那門是窄的，路是小的，找著的人也少。」―馬太福音7:13-14
Depictions of broad and narrow paths alluding to the Gospel of Matthew can often be seen at Hakka churches in Meizhou, Hong Kong, and Sabah. The imagery reminds the faithful to persist in daily life in order to attain salvation and eternal life.
