[英文]Also known as Lan Yinding (Pinyin) and Ran Intei (Japanese pronounciation), Lan$s watercolors also adorned Japanese-period postcards. In addition to the 1954 visit mentioned on this card, thirty of Lan$s paintings were exhibited at Southern Illinois University in 1960, and his large painting of a Taiwanese landscape was given to President Lyndon Johnson by Chiang Kai-shek in 1967.on back: @One of Free China$s outstanding contemporary artists, RAN Inting was born in Taiwan (Formosa) in 1903. He started painting in his boyhood and later studied in Japan and Paris. His paintings have been exhibited on 3 continents. He visited American cities in the summer of 1954 under the U.S. Department of State cultural exchange program.@
