薩滿教是北方民族的宗教信仰，特別是在滿族的生活、風俗以及各項大小祭祀活動中，有著非常重要的作用。本曲運用薩滿教的曲調，再現薩滿祭祀中的上香、請神、跳神、送神等儀式場面。獨特的音樂風格和結構，加之少見的樂隊編制，使樂曲更富有神秘的色彩。（本曲榮獲文建會23年民族音樂創作獎，絲竹室內樂暨吹打樂組第三名。）
Shamanism is a belief prominent among northern races, especially influencing the lives, customs and ritualistic activities of the Manchu people. This piece employs Manchu melodies to represent scenes in rituals, such as the offering of incense, the invitation, dancing and sending off of Gods. The unique style and structure, plus an unusual orchestration give this piece a mysterious character.（This piece won Third Prize in the Chamber Music category at the 23 Council of Cultural Affairs Traditional Music Composition Contest.）
