（臺北）鐵道飯店

[英文]Taipei Railroad Hotel was at the place where the current Shin Kong Mitsukoshi store locates. On November 1st, 1908 the hotel started its business. The building had three floors, mixing bricks and stones in its structure. Its shape on a plane is like 「口」. The third floor has a tilted roof with many metal decorations. Railroad hotel was the best hotel at that time, holding many important meetings and conferences, yet bombed by a Alliance airplane during the second world war (NCL).
