Insect Legs: The Wonders of Six-Legged Adaptation  

昆蟲有極高的多樣性,以各種樣貌生存在各式各樣的環境中,從體型極小的跳蚤到大型甲蟲、從住在水中到在空中飛行,都顯示出昆蟲絕佳的適應能力與多樣性。昆蟲能適應在不同的環境中主要是身體結構上的獨特構造,例如腳是昆蟲身體中非常重要的構造,除了有行走、攀爬等基本功能外,為了生存在不同的環境下,更是演化出各種不同的外形和多樣的特殊功能。本次特展將探索昆蟲的腳,讓我們一起來了解昆蟲的腳有哪些驚人之處!

Insects are a highly diverse group of animals that vary wildly in appearance. Whether it's the tiniest of fleas to the largest of beetles, and from below the water surface to high up in the air, these feats are testaments to insects' great diversity and incredible adaptability. Insects can thrive in so many different environments thanks to their unique body structures—particularly their legs. Besides basic uses like walking and climbing, insect legs also evolved into various forms with unique functions that allowed this group of animals to adapt almost every corner of the planet. Now, join us in exploring and discovering the fascinating wonders of insect legs!
