《藕絲》，創作於2003年12月。這首作品是根據宋代蘇軾的一首回文詞而寫，為京劇青衣與中國簫而作。這首中國古代關於愛情題材的詞，描寫的是一位少女思念遠在他鄉的情郎時的心境。此音樂作品受了中國京劇韻白的啟發，運用了大量京劇式的吟誦，力求通過青衣吟誦的抑揚頓挫，輕重緩急與有固定音高旋律的有機結合，加之中國簫清新淡雅的伴奏，營造出中國古典的韻味美和意境美。

This piece is inspired by Beijing Opera's recitative, and based on a poem by Su Shi. It describes the mood of a young lady who is missing her sweetheart far away.
